"I just wish people would come and look at it and talk to the people who live here. It would speed up their ideas about whether or not to come. At our age, if something happened to you tonight, then you could be over there in the morning (Assisted Living). We have good medical service. This is the place to be because you know when you come you don't have to be anywhere else. This is a big insurance policy; it takes care of you for the rest of your life."- Wayne Pyeatt

"You walk in and you feel like you're back in college. You see all of your friends and make new friends so quickly. I love the fact that I still drive so I can keep up with the things I want to do outside, but I'm keeping so busy inside it's quite a challenge to do the things that I used to do outside. There's more to do than you can possibly keep up with. It's the people. The staff, your fellow residents--the community here is so congenial, so warm. It doesn't take any time to start considering that this is home."

"There is a sense of being a family. You have close friends whom you feel you could call on if you wanted help. It means your family doesn't have to be concerned."

"A lot of people think that Trezevant is really an old folks home and that there’s nothing to do here, but they don’t know about it. They need to come here and see it; it’s anything but that. It’s just great. If I can say that after seven years, then that’s saying something. Come and look, and you will be surprised at what you see. Then check with me and I’ll tell you how wonderful it is."-
