1. What is a LifeCare retirement community?

LifeCare offers a long-term contract to provide a continuum of care from residential apartments and homes to assisted living and then to nursing care.

2. What levels of care are provided in a LifeCare community?

At Trezevant, spacious residential apartments and homes are offered in a campus-style setting offering stimulating activities, dining choices and social interaction for independent living. Assisted living apartments in Trezevant Terrace and a five-star nursing home. Allen Morgan Health and Rehabilitation Center are offered on campus as part of the continuing care community. The ability to move up in care as needed while staying on campus offers residents the assurance of quality, convenience and connectivity to their community.

3. How do I qualify for LifeCare?

In order to become a LifeCare resident, you must meet the financial and medical requirements for independent living.

4. How does LifeCare preserve my estate?

The moment you become a Trezevant LifeCare resident, you begin receiving the healthcare benefits.  This benefit provides you a discounted rate of less than half of the actual market rate for these services.

5. What if I out live my assets?

For thirty years, the Trezevant Foundation has provided security and peace of mind for Trezevant residents by granting subsidies to any LifeCare residents who outlive their financial resources.

6. What is independent living?

Independent Living is designed to provide a setting full of activities and socialization paired with services and amenities to enhance and simplify your lifestyle. In addition, it frees one from thestress and responsibilities of home ownership.

7. What is assisted living?

Assisted living is for those residents who require help with the activities of daily living (ADLs) but do not need nursing care. Trained staff is available 24-hours a day to help with meals, dressing, monitoring medications and personal hygiene. There is a licensed nurse on staff at all times.

8. If I am interested in making Trezevant my future home, what are the first steps?

When you are making future plans and thinking of making Trezevant your future home, the first step is to become a member of our Future Resident Wait List Club. Becoming a member means you will not only be securing your favorite floor plans, but you will have access to activities and dining prior to residing at Trezevant. Keep in mind, your good health and independence is the best assurance for acceptance as a LifeCare resident.
